Will you be buying your own pump? Or renting from the hospital?

I'm torn.. I hear such good things about Medela and Avent, but I see the prices and I'm like ouch, almost as much as the stroller !

I like the First years mipump , the price looks good and it seems like it would be comfortable. But half the reviews I read love it and the other half hate it... no help to me at all!

I know hospital rentals would cost more over time ( about $45 a month from what I read, so times 12 months hopefully, that'd be about $540) but I figure that it's the better option for a host of scenarios. If BFing doesn't work I didn't "waste" the money on a personal pump. If BFing does work I won't have the pump just sitting around when I'm done.

What do you think? What are your plans?
