Now at Preemie Board

Hi Ladies

was popping in to say I am heading over to the preemie board...very unexpectedly.  On Sunday my water broke, and we were hoping that I would not go into labor.  My doctor wanted me to start antibiotics and the steroid shots to boost my little girl's lungs, BUT my body had other plans.  About 2 hours after I was admitted to the hospital, I started to labor, and just a short 6 hours later I gave birth.

My little girl weighed a whopping 3lbs 15oz at just 31 weeks!  She cried spontaneously and didn't need any resuscitation, which was such a huge relief!  She is currently on CPAP and her oxygen needs are going down, so it looks like she will start heading in the right direction soon!   We think she is absolutely beautiful.
