Diaper ? for everyone

So today I went to BRU because they were having a "Baby Shower" for new moms.  While DH and I were there we decided to price out diapers and wipes for different brands to determine which is the most cost effective while still being "sturdy".  Has anyone heard or tried the BRU diaper brand?  They are considerably cheaper but am concerned about the effectiveness.

As a physician assistant I see my fair share of children.  I have determined that the Walmart/Sam's Club brand of diapers are prone to causing severe diaper rash and even a bacterial infection (I won't mention which one).  Now it could just be the children I see, but I am skeptical of that brand and will not even touch them.

 Any thoughts?
