I only see him once a year now since my allergies are pretty controlled, but he remembered that I am due in a month and sent me a hand written letter explaining the newest guidelines for feeding children of highly allergic parents and how they compared to European recommendations and studies done in 2000.  I just thought that it was so nice that in this day and age where docs spend so little time with us that my allergist, who hasn't seen me since I was 8 weeks pregnant, took the time to hand write us a full page of guidelines and suggestions given my particular high risk allergies.
