being a 'normal' pregnant person

I know I shouldn't complain, and I'm not necessarily doing so, but it is so weird to be considered a 'normal pregnant person and to have appointments where you don't have ultrasounds but instead just listen to a heartbeat and get sent on your way.  It is just weird because i'm so used to being 'not normal'.  My 16 week appointment went good today.  Baby heartbeat was 160.  he wasn't happy because i've lost 5lbs but said he understood because i have been so sick the past 3 weeks.  He won't look at the baby again until I am 21 weeks because of my vacation, so I'm going to have to see if I can get my hookup in the hospital to look next week or the following to see the sex :-)  Good news, my Upper respiratory/ashtma thing seems to be resolving which is super nice!
