If you set up an FSA?

How did you estimate your OOP costs for pregnancy/L&D?  Obviously, we have no idea what will happen, but I'm thinking ballpark is the OOP max on our PPO?  Does the family limit vs. individual kick in as soon as the LOs arrive even though you haven't officially added them to the policy yet?

We have to set it up now through DH, since we had a change in status last mo. and we've exhausted mine.  Fortunately, we have until 3/15/12 to spend it all. 

Any insight is appreciated.
