Everything went pretty smooth. Ashlyn Elizabeth weighed in at 5 pounds 6 ounces. Madelyn Jean weighed in at 5 pounds 2 ounces. They took Maddie to the NICU right away because she needed some help breathing. I got to spend about an hour skin to skin with Ashlyn, but then her breathing got a little rougher so they took her as well. They anticipate an overnight stay for both. I am settled in my room, eating the most delicious ice chips ever!!!! thanks for all the well wishes earlier, pips to follow once I get my laptop. I pink puffy heart you all!!!
