OMG Leg Cramps!

I seriously scared the crap out of my DH this morning.  I feel asleep on the couch after getting not so good sleep last night and woke up screaming because both my legs were cramped up.  I've been getting cramps on and off, they hurt but nothing like this, usually I can straighten my leg and flex my foot and they go away.  Not this time, my DH had to literally pull my legs straight and flex my feet for me, OMG it hurt so bad!  It's been hours and my legs still hurt to touch and to stand.  Wow these are some serious charlie horses. 

I'm now downing water and having a banana in hopes that it was dehydration or low potassium. 

Anyone else having ridiculously painful leg cramps?
