Your baby shower...

For those of you who know about your shower or have had your shower, how many weeks were you or will you be when you have it?

Here's my dilemma...I'm due 10/14. My mom wanted to do 9/10...but I will be over 35 weeks pregnant and I am terrified I'll end up on bed rest for some reason or go early...it would just be my luck. I suggested end of Aug, one of the last two weekends and my mom just informed that she is going to Europe to see our family for 3 weeks in Aug, it's her only vacation time at work. So that leaves us with first weekend in Aug, I'll be 30 weeks. Is that too early? Also there are so many conflicts with people having other things going on...this is SOOOOO annoying!!!!!
