Ridiculously Overdue Update - My Baby Boy

Hi ladies. I apologize for the extremely overdue nature of this post and hope everyone is doing well. After 2 days of labor (I was induced), my baby boy was born on April 29th at 6:41 PM weighing 6 lbs 5 oz.

I would have posted much earlier, but the difficult delivery was followed by a stay in the NICU for my little boy (he had fluid in his lungs and there was concern that it may have caused an infection), and readmission to the hospital for me when my blood pressure soared and I was retaining so much fluid that it was compressing the nerves in my legs and feet.

Things have finally calmed down and I am so overwhelmingly happy to have the love of my life home safely where he belongs.
