Pregnant after IF

Doc appt update and BP question

So I saw my OB today and he said that my contractions, even though they are painful and accompanied by cramps, back pain and diarrhea, are nothing to worry about as long as they go away once I lay down and drink water, which they do.  If they keep happening after resting and I have more than 7 in an hr he said I am to go straight to L&D.  So for now at least the contractions are not an issue.

He did reduce my hours at work by 2 hrs a day, but he said if that doesn't help with how I'm feeling to call and he will either cut my day further or just pull me out of work completely.

My question about BP is at what point does your doc worry about your BP?  Mine has been creeping up (today 142/96) but my doc said that it's high but not to terrible and he is just going to keep an eye on it.  I don't have protein in my urine.  I totally trust my doc, but being a nervous nellie I am just curious what other people's docs say about BP and how high is too high.
