Progesterone suppositories?

Is anyone else on progesterone suppositories? I'm taking prometrium 200mg 2x per day. I am just curious if it is possible to have spotting while on them. I keep checking for spotting all the time, but then I wonder if it is even possible? Has anyone had spotting on prometrium? How long are you taking the progesterone? I think my RE said until 12-13 weeks. They are so messy and gross!
