Need some encouragement...Beta didnt double

Hi ladies. Got my second beta results today. They didnt double. Beta 1 was 200 and beta 2 is 305. The only good thing is that my progesterone when from 14.6 to 34. We are happy with that. What are your thoughts on my numbers? We did transfer 2 so we are thinking maybe we lost one? 1st u/s is Monday May 16 and then we will really know whats going on. I definitely lost it and had a break down with DH. I asked the RE if i could go for another beta being that the numbers weren't where we wanted them, he said it isnt necessary unless i start bleeding. Great, is he trying to tell me something?!? So now im a sitting duck until May 16. Anyone have a success story about their betas not doubling? Thanks ladies!
