just wanted to share my experience! i got a hand-me-down treadmill over the winter, and decided to do all my workouts uphill to get my butt in shape, and then once it got warm again, i'd go back to running. we ran for the first time over the weekend, and i actually felt really in shape, despite my lack of running for months. uphill workouts on the treadmill really kept me strong through the winter, and i highly recommend them if you're having trouble getting back into shape!
