Tide Original

So, I've read several people on here who use/have used Tide Original powder to wash their CDs, and have had good experience with it. 

The only place I can find that talks about Tide in relation to CDs is the diaper jungle list, and it says not to use it?

I think I will go ahead and get RnG...but it would kind of be nice to be able to run to the store to buy detergent if I need to...
