Wet bags leaking/stinky

I've had my wet bags for almost a year maybe longer. One leaked after I put wet pool things (the blue penguin) into it and I could smell a poopy diaper through the other (leslies diapers). Do they just need to be thrown in the dryer or do I need new ones? They are almost always line dried.
