More o/n help needed. MSO + WB footies = fail

So I tried the combo and DH said he was wet in the am.  I said damp or actually wet thinking he was a bit damp but not actually wet.  DH's response - No, wet, like I walked into the room and even in the dark I could see the huge soaking wet spot through the front of the footies.  So, yeah - are GMs good/nights moreabsorbant than MSOs? I cant put an AFFF in the MSO or i can't get it on - any suggestions?
