EFF Poop question

We are going to be formula feeding from the very start.  I have heard that I should ploop the poo off the CD after every change or use liners and I have also heard that the EFF poop will wash out easily like EBF poop. 

If you EFF what is your experience with the poo? And what is your routine after taking the CD off LO?  Do you use liners everytime from the very start?
