Which is honestly better?

I've been considering stocking my stash with mostly the Kawaii's OS pockets, but I've also noticed a lot of used diapers that are "higher up brands" are going for about the same as the new Kawaii's. Are they really THAT much better that the used would be the better deal? I would prefer the new to used since DH is pretty leery over used dipes, but I want to get a good deal too.
