DD has a nasty dipaer rash. :(

We've been going back and forth between cloth and sposies as we try to get the hang of cloth.  (DH is still freaked out by CDs and I'm trying to win him over.)  DD developed a nasty looking diaper rash.  I used cloth all day yesterday and changed her frequently and used CA babies diaper rash cream and it's not looking any better.  She cries every time I put it on.  Any other suggestions?  I feel so bad for her.
