Sunbaby - should I buy these for a friend?

I have a friend who would like to CD but can't swing the upfront cost, LO is 6 months. I want to buy her a stash of diapers. I can't really afford to do 24 of the big name brands so I was thinking of buying her the Sunbaby 24 diapers plus 24 inserts. Are these decent? Should I go the used CD route instead. I really want to help and I don't want to buy her bad diapers.
