Anyone use pins on their snapless dipes?

Stinks is too smart for her own good and can get a snappi off. I have several bsrb dipes that I love, but don't use because of this. I also have some sbish snapless that I got for overnights and use them with a thirsties cover and no snappi. I've never used pins, but wonder if it's worth a try? Will it cause issues because she's a tummy sleeper? Can a toddler figure out a pin? Or should I just sell all of my snapless diapers to you lovely ladies?
