Cloth Diapering

Prep question

Natural fibers: wash 3-5 times on hot (or boil). Includes cotton, bamboo, hemp. (This includes CV and OBV, right? So GMs?)

Synthetic fibers: wash once before use.

Anything with PUL: dry on high before first use to seal

1. Is that right?

2. Is there a reason you can't just wash synthetic and natural together 3-5 times if washing it that many times gets the oils out? Wouldn't any oils that leeched into the synthetic fabrics come out with that many washes?  What about things like inserts that have microfiber on one side and cotton on the other?

3.  What is fleece? Natural or synthetic?

4. If you're not sure what a fabric is, is there a way to tell whether is natural or synthetic?

5. I know you need at least X number of diapers to effectively wash so they rub up against each other, but not more than Y or else it won't get everything. What's the magic number?
