newbie advice/family issues

My DS is 7 weeks old and I have recently been thinking of switching him to cloth diapers and have been reading up on everything. My post is kind of two-fold. I would have no problem getting DH on board with this, but I KNOW the rest of my family will have a problem. How do I get them to get on board with us, seeing as they would be babysitting if we need them? They already think I'm crazy for BF and starting to BW, I can just imagine trying to teach them how to change DS's cloth diaper!!

Secondly, any advice for a potential newbie? It seems very overwhelming to start off.
