Hemp FB one size - prep?

I know the hemp inserts need to go through 6-8 hot washes with drying in between. I got a hemp FB one size dipe as a gift. Does the pocket part need to go through as many washings as well? Can I boil the insert and the pocket part or no? If so, how long do you boil for?
