CD Laundry Question

When you first get a CD, can you wash them with other ones on hot or will the colors bleed? My washer requires that I have a reasonable size load or it won't work (at least not that I've figured out yet). I noticed that the Bum Genius had a sticker on it saying to wash it 6 times with like colors. That makes me nervous. Does anyone have any experience or advice? Thanks!
