Question about washer machines

So I gather CD must be rise cold once, then hot hot wash. Right? Well the setting in my washer machine are very limited it's only "warm/cold" "cold/cold" or "hot/cold" so basically they all cycles have a last cold rinse. What do you suggest/recommend? Thanks a lot!
