Making Your Own Detergent?

New here with a question. Right now I make our own laundry detergent for our own clothes. Here is the basic recipe:

Homemade Laundry Detergent
Adapted from multiple sources.

Ingredients

1 cup grated laundry soap (such as Fels Naptha or Zote)
1/2 cup 20 Mule Team Borax
1/2 cup Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda
Container large enough to hold 2 cups laundry detergent

So for my question, is this safe for CD? Is it possible to make my own detergent for CD and washing the baby's clothes? I already do it for us, but I'm just starting in the world of CD.
