Green Mountain Prefolds and pocket dipes

How long did your LO stay in orange prefolds? My baby is now 5 weeks and about 10 pounds and I'm wondering if I'm squeezing her legs too much with the Orange prefolds and if I should switch to the yellow.. the XS covers seem too small at this point, but I can still use the orange edge prefolds... 

 I'm to the point also where I am considering what Cloth diapers I'd like to use after the newborn period. I plan on using small kissaluvs fitteds and the yellow prefolds for the next month or so, but would love opinions on what I should use next.... I was thinking pocket diapers but unsure what brand i should go with. TIA!
